Join me for a wonderful talk with Dr. Stephen G. Post as he shares his fascinating story of how a dream about a blue angelic being influenced him into beginning a life long journey into the practice and study and service of Universal Love and compassion.
Kindness, compassion, and love heal in countless ways. When we contribute to lives of others by kindness and helping, we discover happiness and resilience. Each one of us is a healer when we are kind and helpful to others, and especially to those who are suffering
due to illness, loss, disappointment, humiliation, rejection, or a thousand other things. Compassion is active kindness in response to suffering, and it always heals at so many levels.
For over twenty years Dr. Post has spread the scientifically-based benefits of giving and committing to the greater good across the globe—he lives and teaches the uplifting message that by giving to others, we become our fullest selves. Post is the author of God and Love on Route 80: The Hidden Mystery of Human Contentedness and lead author of the bestselling Why Good Things Happen to Good People: How to Live a Happier, Healthier, Longer Life by the Simple Act of Giving. For over two decades he has been a part of Alzheimer care communities. He is the founding director of the Institute for Research on Unlimited Love, and the founding director of the Center for Medical Humanities, Compassionate Care, and Bioethics at Stony Brook University in New York.
